Located in the northern part of Mallorca, the Alcudia Peninsula boasts a mix of landscapes, including rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, pine forests, and rural villages. At 446m above sea level remains the circular base of an old 16th-century tower and, a little further down, two huts where the soldiers took refuge during the Civil War. It was a watchtower that controlled the part of the bay that was not visible from Sa Penya Roja. Very exposed to storms and especially lightning, it was already in poor conditions when the military demolished it in 1918.
