Cala Romantica works for families when the water is shallow and the access is easy. Check the sand type, shade options and lifeguard hours before bringing small children, and bring extra water for hot days.

Around Cala Romantica, snorkeling is best in the early morning when the water is calm. Rocky edges and small caves usually hold the most fish; a mask and water shoes make a real difference.
