Parking near Cala Comptessa can be limited in summer. Arrive before 10:00 in July and August, or use a paid lot nearby. Some coves require a short walk from the road.

Cala Comptessa works for families when the water is shallow and the access is easy. Check the sand type, shade options and lifeguard hours before bringing small children, and bring extra water for hot days.

Whether Cala Comptessa catches a strong sunset depends on the orientation of the cove. Western-facing beaches around Cala Comptessa get golden hour over the open sea; east-facing ones are better for sunrise.

A relaxed half-day works well at Cala Comptessa — enough time for a swim, a snack, a walk along the shore and golden hour. Add lunch nearby and the whole day fills up easily.

Dog access at Mallorca beaches is regulated and changes seasonally. Outside the main summer months, many beaches around Cala Comptessa are dog-friendly; in July–August it's usually restricted.
